Linking a wallet
A linked wallet is one your account has proven it owns, by signing a message. Jua uses the link to know whose trades are whose: an order is accepted only from a wallet that is linked to the account placing it, and your portfolio shows the shares your linked wallets hold.
Linking never moves money. The signature is free and sends no transaction.
On the website
The wallet you sign in with is linked to your account automatically (that is the second signature at your first sign-in). You can link more wallets under Settings → Wallets:
- Open Settings → Wallets.
- Press Connect wallet and choose the wallet. If it is a different wallet app from the one you signed in with, switch to it first.
- Sign the message. The wallet appears in your list.
A wallet can belong to one Jua account only. If you see "This wallet already belongs to a Jua account", sign in with that account instead.
Which wallet is used for what
- Trading: the wallet you connect while you trade. Press Buy Yes and the connected wallet signs; its USDT pays for the trade as it settles, and the shares arrive in it. A wallet that is not yet linked is linked on the spot (one extra signature).
- Collecting winnings: whichever linked wallet holds the winning shares collects them, by itself.
- Commissions from inviting friends: paid to the linked wallet you chose as your payout wallet, or the first one you linked. See Inviting friends.
In the Telegram Mini App: TON Connect
Real money in Telegram is USDT on TON, traded from a TON wallet you connect once:
- Open the Wallet tab, or just press Buy Yes: the app asks you to connect if you have not.
- Press Connect wallet. TON Connect lists the TON wallets you can use: Telegram Wallet (inside Telegram), Tonkeeper, and other TON wallets.
- Approve the connection in the wallet and sign the message it shows. The wallet signs a proof that names Jua's Mini App; it never moves money without asking you. The Wallet tab then shows the wallet with a Verified mark.
Your wallet's USDT and TON stay in it. The Wallet tab reads what it holds from the TON network; there is nothing to deposit and nothing to withdraw on Jua.
Keep a little TON
Every trade and every collection sends about 0.1 TON with it to pay the network's fees. Most of it comes back to you after the trade; what the network keeps is a fraction of a cent. Keep a few TON in the wallet.
Which TON wallet is used
The TON wallet you connected last is the one the app trades from and pays commissions to. If you switch wallets, connect the new one and trade from it: an order sent from a wallet nobody has connected is refunded to that wallet in full, without being placed.
Removing a wallet
On the website, Settings → Wallets → Remove. Removing a link changes nothing in the wallet itself: shares you hold stay in it, and you can still collect winnings from it on chain. In Telegram, disconnect in the wallet app and connect another.
